POWERED BY STRONG COFFEE AND FREQUENT NONSENSE

Hello!

My name is Alex

I believe it’s customary to include a little biographical information, so here goes:

I grew up on a remote Scottish island, as far north as you can get in the British Isles. From this I formed a deep appreciation of rugged beauty and a strong dislike of being outdoors in a force-9 gale.

My first camera was a 1964 Kodak Instamatic. It took square pictures and cost my parents a lot in 24-exposure 126 film cartridges.

I accidentally got a job in TV when I was 19. I worked there for nearly a decade.

I directed the feature-length documentary “Super Juice Me” which had an "orange-carpet" premiere in London’s Leicester Square. It’s been seen by over two million people.

My photography and video work has been published internationally and featured in numerous magazines, books, and broadcasters.

I’m a nice guy and occasionally hilarious (just ask my dog)! I go out of my way to encourage others and explore creative possibilities.

Finally, Alex will never understand why so many people write their own bios in the third person.

Yes! I AM An

Award-Winning

Photographer!

Other DEFINITELY IMPORTANT FACTS

Fact #1

I once saw a ghost while filming a documentary in a medieval ruin in Oxfordshire — for realsies!

(well… possibly not!)

Fact #2

I projected a 30ft-high hairy naked bottom onto the side of a house in a dull suburban neighbourhood.

(It was “art”)

Fact #3

The cinema that my documentary Super Juice Me premiered at was demolished the following week.

(I didn't think it was that bad!)

I can't wait to hear from you

Say hello. Let's work together!
